Im pretty disappointed with it so far. We have been with you for a month or so and our MySQL databases have gone down twice for different lengths of time. Actually, they just disappear.

We have experienced other problems with lag but that is no big deal in my mind. I also wont blame you for that as it could be many other things.

But the MySQL databases disappearing is severe. I back them up but im worried they will not come back. They are gone now and its been 15 minutes.

The server hasnt been down for weeks now. MySQL server has been down a couple of times, I admit. One time for maintanecne. If you have any complaints/comments, please, dont hesitate to contact me about them. I dont believe MySQL databases should just 'dissappear'... Maybe its your php program, but I dont know. Please, if you have any problems, please contact me and ill be happy to help out.

The "disappear" part is in CPanel. The tally for my account goes to 0/10 MySQL databases when there are problems. The CPanel MySQL administration screen doesn't list any at that point, and phpmyadmin returns bad username/password. It's all just a function of the sevice not responding to queries, I'm sure.

Well. If the mySQL server is down, how can cpanel detect any databases?

Exactly! I was only trying to elucidate on the idea of them disappearing, since you seemed unsure in your first response.

I figure that if Jack isn't making a profit (Or a very little one), then he probably works another job.

Just one question: Do you own the servers the domains are being hosted on? Or do you just have a reseller account with another provider?

I can imagine someone with some extra weight in their wallet paying for a colo and starting a web provider business, offering hosting with reseller accounts. Then someone gets a reseller account with them and resells more reseller accounts with another person buying a reseller account from THEM and so on.

Get what I mean?

Well according to an IP lookup he's using a server (or reseller account) from stormwire.com, who leases space (or servers) from burstNET, who has space in the NOC datacenter, located in Scranton, PA.

Regardless of what is considered a rumor, I know these facts:

Seems pretty straightforward, but I'm willing to entertain other explanations of this data. Best I can tell, Jack is renting servers or server space from theplanet in Dallas, and jc-host.com is on hostnoc.net.
SnideCoder, if you are a customer yet tracert your own domain name.
